Hospice at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester is available to people of all ages with limited life expectancy resulting from a terminal illness. We help patients to live their remaining days at home, as comfortably as possible, with family and friends close by. We also empower patients to make their own decisions with our support and assistance. And we are able to identify community resources that can provide all types of assistance to the patient and his/her caregivers.
In addition to providing hospice care in the patient's home, UMass Memorial Hospice is contracted to provide hospice services to patients in nursing homes throughout the region.
UMass Memorial Hospice is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and certified by the Joint Commission.
